Does Hutto Hippo Family Dental accept insurance?

Yes. We accept and file most dental insurance plans, and we'll verify your benefits before your first visit so you know what's covered. Not sure about your plan? Give us your plan details and we'll check your coverage before your appointment. We also offer flexible payment plans for patients without insurance coverage.

Do you accept HMO or Medicaid dental plans?

We're not able to accept HMO or Medicaid dental plans. We do accept and file most other dental insurance plans — call us at (512) 806-7740 before booking if you're not sure whether your plan qualifies. We also offer an in-house dental plan as an alternative; pricing and details can change, so give us a call to ask if that might be a good fit for you.

Do you accept Delta Dental?

We are out-of-network with Delta Dental. If you have a Delta Dental plan, payment is collected at the time of your visit and we file the claim with Delta Dental on your behalf — Delta Dental typically reimburses you directly. What payment options do you offer?

We accept and file most dental insurance plans. For patients without insurance or with out-of-pocket costs, we offer flexible payment plans to help make dental care affordable. Please speak with our office staff about our current payment options.

What are your office hours?

We see patients Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (closed 1–2 p.m. for lunch). We are also available for after-hours dental emergencies.

Do you accept emergency dental appointments?

Yes. We understand that dental emergencies don't always happen during business hours. Please call or text our office at (512) 806-7740 for after-hours dental emergency assistance. We serve emergency patients from Hutto, Taylor, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and surrounding areas. We will work to see you as quickly as possible.

Do you treat children at Hutto Hippo Family Dental?

Although we will see a child of any age, we typically recommend that parents schedule a first dental appointment when the child is around four years of age. However, we will treat a younger child in the event of a dental emergency.

Do you offer care in languages other than English?

Yes! Our office provides care in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. Dr. Han Nguyen is fluent in both English and Vietnamese, and our staff can assist Spanish-speaking patients as well. We want every patient to feel comfortable and fully understood during their visit.
